High-Voltage Vacuum-Contactor Automatic Compensation System
The ZSBKS series High-Voltage Vacuum-Contactor Automatic Compensation System automatically switches capacitor banks based on busbar voltage and reactive power, tracking load changes to improve power factor, power quality and reduce energy loss.
Overview
The ZSBKS series High-Voltage Vacuum-Contactor Automatic Compensation System automatically switches capacitor banks according to the voltage and reactive power of the supply busbar, tracking load changes for reactive power compensation, thereby improving system power factor, power quality and reducing energy loss. It is installed on the outgoing busbar side in 35kV or 110kV substations, in 6, 10, 22 and 35kV switching stations, and is also commonly installed ahead of high-voltage motor control cabinets in industrial and mining enterprises for local compensation. The system automatically tracks reactive power changes, switches capacitor banks, improves power factor and power quality, and suppresses harmonics by means of series reactors configured according to site harmonic conditions to form LC circuits. It provides overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent and capacitor branch unbalanced voltage protection. Reactive power is compensated automatically using multiple capacitor banks (1-6 groups) with cyclic coding. An RS485 communication interface supports remote control and management. Manual and automatic control modes are available. The system comprises a reactive power compensation controller and microcomputer capacitor protector, current transformers, surge arresters, discharge coils, high-voltage AC vacuum contactors, reactors, capacitor protection high-voltage fuses (configured according to the capacitor bank) and power capacitor banks (configured according to user distribution load). The controller and microcomputer protector analyze system voltage signals and current signals at the assessment point in real time and issue control commands; the vacuum contactor completes switching immediately upon receiving the command. Installation: indoor; the incoming isolation cabinet and group compensation cabinets are arranged side by side and connected by busbars; the incoming isolation cabinet is connected to the load equipment busbar by high-voltage cable or busbar. Customized outdoor versions are available.
